Inspired by the Midwest cabin and the land around it, this collection brings the outdoors inside with a tailored, feminine eye. Florals appear in unexpected places: a dark green and black split floral jacquard, a blue green floral camouflage in deadstock cotton, and a flocked blue velvet. Warm brown jacquards, plaid, and black wool bring the comfort of a woodstove evening.
Texture and handwork run throughout. Hand-knit mohair and recycled merino sweaters, made with our partners at KOCO, are finished with 4D flowers, an appliquéd tulip, and a hand-embroidered duck by a Ukrainian artisan based in Kyiv, who also appliquéd the leaf embroidery on our beaded pencil skirt.
Pleats from Tom’s International Pleating, a historic pleating house in NYC’s garment district, give the sunburst skirt and bubble silhouettes their sculptural movement. Black wool blazers are made to be dressed up with our spoon and lure brooches.
